Good street tacos! The only issue I have is the prices; way too much for what you get. I guess if you want a value here, it's about the breakfast burritos. Reasonably priced and pretty tasty. As for the tacos, the El pastor Rock, very good, I have had the steak tacos as well, a little dry, but pretty good. I will be back next time I'm in the area.
This place is sick. I was craving a handheld breakfast burrito and this place came highly recommended. When I saw that the price was $3...I knew I was in love. Ordered two, one with hot green chili and one with mild. This was on a Thursday, so it was sausage day. The mild was kind of a miss - it tasted very, homogenic? Just not a lot of distinction between the flavors, and was similar to something from taco bell. The hot one though, oh yeah. That's the stuff.
Had a long day on Tuesday. Flew into Denver early, checked into my hotel at 4 PM and was starving. Araujos was a few blocks away. Wanted something cold, light. Ordered a Shrimp Cocktail. Got a quart sized container of some of the best Mexican cocktail of my life. Why 5-stars? 1. Freshly made. Someone in the kitchen chopped up fresh cilantro, onions, avocado, etc. Made to order from scratch. 2. Folks working here were very nice. 3. Cool place, great salsa music playing. 4. Well priced. I plan on returning for a sit-down dinner. Love the vibe, great place to hang out and wind down.
I've been going to Araujos for over 20 years and it's always been phenomenal food and phenomenal customer service. Everything on the menu is always delicious
This place is real authentic Mexican food!! Awesome tacos and great cucumber drink!!! 4 star because it's a MEXICAN restaurant and do NOT play Mexican music. Even after I asked them.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Their enchilada sauce is authentic and flavorful as is the tomitillo. The margaritas weren't the best, but hey just get beer! The fried ice cream was huge! The service was wonderful. We will be back for sure!!
